Elder Hays - Homecoming talk in Sacrament Meeting

Elder Hays gave a beautiful talk in Sacrament Meeting.  We all enjoyed wonderful visitors and delicious German food afterwards.  The sausage, sauerkraut & rot kohl filled the room with an interesting, but authentic German aroma!  The German crusty rolls were the hit along with the Berliners.

Welcome Home Elder Hays!!!

Elder Hays right before leaving Berlin.  We are so grateful for President & Sister Kosak.  Elder Hays stayed in the mission home a week before he came home. They took such great care of him.  They are the greatest!!

We received notice from our Stake President that Elder Hays would come home a few weeks earlier than we had planned (a bum shoulder) and we were thrilled!  We frantically put his room together and made signs.  He hopped off the plane on November 12, 2014 after serving a full-time honorable mission to the Germany-Berlin Mission.  We are so proud of him.

 Here we are anxiously waiting for him to arrive (some with tears in our eyes) . . . .

I told Kristin that Moms get the first hug.  She snuck in- right under my arm.
She, of course, was crying harder that any of us.
